Transactional Analysis Therapy
Transactional Analysis Therapy
Who is Transactional Analysis Therapy for?
Transactional Analysis is a modern approach to psychology, designed to promote personal growth and change. Developed by Eric Berne in the late 1950s, Transactional Analysis helps individuals reach their full potential in all aspects of life. Transactional Analysis Therapy is thought to be useful in treating people with a number of psychological and emotional problems.
How Does Transactional Analysis Therapy Work?
Transactional Analysis is based on the theory that we have three different parts of our personality: the parent, adult and child and our mental health and wellbeing is dependent on our ability to move between these effectively. Transactional Analysis explores which of these parts we use most often and how this can be changed to enhance our relationships.
A Recent Testimonial
Rebecca - Clapham“I cannot comment positively enough on the psychologist I saw at The Harley Psychology & Therapy Group. She provided a structured yet flexible framework for discussing my issues, was insightful and at times necessarily firm and challenging which was exactly the sort of counsellor I had hoped to be paired with”.
