Philosophy
Reaching out for support can feel challenging, especially when it involves sharing personal thoughts and experiences with someone new. My aim is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported at your own pace
Approach
I have over 10 years of experience in supporting children, young people, and adults with a wide range of mental health difficulties. I have a particular interest in working with neurodiversity and trauma.
My approach is tailored to your individual needs. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and work flexibly and collaboratively, drawing on evidence-based practices to ensure that our work is both effective and meaningful. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation for positive change.work with families, children, couples and individuals and can support you, and those important to you, through, what can sometimes be, a difficult process.
Motivation
I believe that therapy can be valuable for everyone at different stages of life. It is not only for times of distress, but also an opportunity for self-reflection, personal growth, and developing practical tools to support your wellbeing. Engaging in therapy can help you gain new perspectives, strengthen resilience, and support long-term mental health.
About Me
I am passionate about supporting wellbeing both inside and outside the virtual therapy room. I take a particular interest in the impact of screen time on mental health and the benefits of reconnecting with the natural world.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy yoga, dancing, hiking, and spending time in nature.
I had a course of CBT Counselling with The Harley Psychology & Therapy Group (Richmond) and although it didn’t provide me with the quick fix miracle solution I was hoping for, it has made my problems feel more manageable.
