Philosophy
I understand that life can be challenging and difficult to navigate at times. Perhaps you are experiencing low mood, anxiety or difficulties in your relationships. You can bring anything that is worrying you or causing you distress,
Sometimes, individuals are not sure why they are coming to see me. You might just feel things are not okay and feel a bit lost in life. You might be struggling to manage your feelings. You might want to engage in a journey of self-
discovery and exploration. There is no right or wrong topic to bring, and nothing that I would not consider important enough. Whatever is making you want to seek help is always justified and I can help you to explore further.
Therapy can help to create shifts, movement and new energy that did not previously feel present or possible.
Approach
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe real, lasting change becomes possible when you feel genuinely safe — heard, accepted, and free from judgement. That sense of safety isn’t a backdrop to therapy; it is the work.
I take a holistic view of the people I work with. Rather than focusing solely on a presenting problem, I’m interested in the full picture: the life experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped who you are. Early experiences, family dynamics, and the ways you’ve learned to connect with others are all held in mind throughout our work together.
A central part of what I do is help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves — why they feel the way they do, why they relate to others as they do, and where those patterns come from. That self-awareness is often where meaningful, lasting change begins. I work integratively, drawing on psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches within a contemporary, relational framework.
Sessions are collaborative. I bring psychological knowledge, evidence-based techniques, and practical tools you can use in daily life. You bring your story. Together, the work is about building healthier relationships with others by first building a kinder, more grounded relationship with yourself.
Motivation
Clients I work with often seek support for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation and self-understanding, work stress and life transitions, sleep difficulties, and LGBTQ+ identity and experience.
About Me
I grew up in Ireland and have lived in London for 5 years now. I enjoy cold water swimming and being in nature. I am very lucky to to spend a lot of time on the beautiful island of Mallorca. I am sleep obsessed as I consider it to be the foundation to function. You can find me walking, at a workout class or getting a matcha with my friends.
I had a course of CBT Counselling with The Harley Psychology & Therapy Group (Richmond) and although it didn’t provide me with the quick fix miracle solution I was hoping for, it has made my problems feel more manageable.
Client Testimonial
I can’t recommend Claudia enough. I came to her during a really difficult time, and she helped me understand OCD thought patterns, cognitive distortions, and intrusive thoughts. It completely changed the way I understand and respond to my thoughts, and I saw a huge amount of improvement in just a few sessions.
Her support made me feel far less alone through it all, and I always left our sessions feeling calmer, more informed, and more able to cope rather than overwhelmed. If you’re thinking about reaching out to her, do it, she’s wonderful.
