If you have answered ‘yes’ to one of more of these questions you may benefit from our counselling services for international students.
One of our Therapists will meet with you to find out a little bit about you, your expectations for your time in the UK and your experiences since arriving here. They will also ask you about the education program you are taking part in, your friends, family and others sources of support and what you would like to get from your counselling experience.
Using this information your Therapist will then put together a counselling programme for you that will enable you to get the most out of your time in the UK and help you to manage the challenges you are facing including managing any feelings of anxiety, depression or homesickness through a selection of practical and psychological strategies shown to bring one’s mood and mind into balance.
As you start to settle into life and study in the UK your Therapist will continue to support you and help you to learn how to anticipate future difficulties before they arise, this will boost your confidence and allow you to fully enjoy your time away from home.
